1.     SAILING COURSE IN ENGLISH 

• Aimed at foreign-speaking children and adolescents aged 8-14.
• For those with no prior sailing experience or as an upgrade to a previous beginner's course.
• The course will be conducted in English.
• Group size is up to 9 children with one instructor.
• The course runs from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with a lunch break.
• It takes place on RS Feva, RS Vision, Laser, or Optimist, Murphy class sailboats (at the instructor's discretion).

COURSE PRICE

The course price is 260 EUR per child.

The course includes:

Life jackets are mandatory throughout the course and are provided by JK Pirat. JK Pirat reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course to a later date if there are not enough registered children (minimum 5) in a specific term.

2. BEGGINER AND ADVANCED SAILING SCHOOL FOR ADULTS (Group of 4 Participants):

Courses are conducted on single and double-handed sailboats with a movable keel (Laser, RS Feva, 420) or a larger sailboat with a fixed keel (Murphy 26).

The 3-day course runs from Friday to Sunday:

Friday: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, theory and sailboat familiarization
Saturday and Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, practical sailing

The regular course price is 320 EUR per person. JK Pirat members receive a 30% discount.

3. INDIVIDUAL SAILING COURSES FOR OLDER CHILDREN AND ADULTS (Maximum 2 Participants):

Course dates and schedules: individually by arrangement with the instructor. Courses are conducted on Optimist, Laser, RS Feva, 420 sailboats.

65 EUR/hour per participant
4-hour course (1 day): 220.00 EUR per participant
8-hour course (2 days): 420.00 EUR per participant (participant receives a practical gift: JK Pirat Lycra T-shirt)

Course registration is confirmed upon receipt of the registration fee. Otherwise, after 10 days from the application, the spot will be assigned to the next participant.

Condition for continuing in the JK PIRAT competitive program:

Completed at least a 10-day (any) course
Pass a sailing knowledge test
Payment of the JK Pirat registration fee, which is 100 EUR
Course participants are exempt from membership fees for the current year.

We also have a set date for the Biginner Regatta in Koper: August 30th, 2025. All participants of the 10-day courses (Basics + Advanced) will be invited. The number of places is limited (18), with two instructors present.
