The weather on the second day looked promising again but the downside was that it affected the wind big time. The sailors headed out on schedule but the race committee struggled with poor and fickle conditions.

It was only in the early afternoon that the sea breeze picked up to 6-7 knots from NW and allowed 450 sailors to have an enjoyable time on the water.

The wind conditions suited more the lighter sailors and after two completed races it was Lisa Vucetti from Italy whose 1.,1., and a discarded 3rd place on the day put her top of the standings ahead of Mic Mohr (GER) and Giuseppe Montesano (ITA).

Back on shore, competitors were treated with delicious hot dogs and much anticipated prize draw consisting of several life jackets, watches, gloves and other useful gear from top sailing brands.
