On Wednesday, 8. September 2021, Sailing Club Pirat has officially launched the 2021 European Windsurfing Championship in class D2. There are 19 competitors from 6 countries competing in two divisions - division A, which competes with a 6.5m2 triangular sail, and division C, which competes with a 9.5m2 modern sail. Our classic Piranja will be included in the European Championship so the Piranja results will be counted in when scoring for the championship. We hope Piranja will attract even more sailors to compete on the traditional route between our club, Portorož and Piran.

The European Championship will end on Sunday, 12. September 2021 when we will also publish the final (and official) results.

We wish all competitors good wind and successful sailing until the end of the competition!
